Cross Stitch is my New Hobby

I've been keeping busy working on my cross stitch pattern, as you can see (below). What being without a job and needing something to keep me busy while I wait and while Nic's studying, I've been doing this:

 

Last time I posted about this I was not nearly far along and I thought I had posted a picture, but I didn't, so we can't compare, but let's just say, I'm eons farther than I was last time. The crazy thing is, I started like 3 years ago and I'm still not finished :) I'm totally okay with that - It's something that from the beginning I wanted to be a "pick up and work on it whenever" kinda thing, and that's just what it's been! My original estimate of when it might be done was a year - now I'm thinking more like ten years ;) ...I've still got so much more to go...but it's fun and mindless, for the most part, and yes, I still feel like a Grandma while I do it!
