It's going to take a bit of doing to get all ready to go and packed with all the right clothing and stuff for this wedding weekend, that's for sure! I need to pick a variety of shoes to bring...Amy is going to let me borrow a dress or two for the different events going on this weekend - all my fancy clothes are still packed away since we haven't moved into the basement, yet. It is the biggest hassle to riffle through the boxes as they are in the garage. I have spent so much time out there trying to find something that I thought this time I'm just going to let it go and ask Amy! And being the best sister a girl could ask for and so conveniently the same size as me, she's going to let me borrow some of her clothes - what's new?! :)
This afternoon's task: LAUNDRY! I am in the midst of a mound of laundry. Isn't it just the way it goes that right before a trip the laundry just seems to pile itself up unnoticed until the last minute? Seems that way to me!
Anyway, after working this morning (haha, again, they asked me to stay late) until the afternoon, I had an interview at Hyvee, a local grocery store. It looks like the best fit would be for me to learn and work in their floral department. Sounds, actually, like alot of fun. I am still hopeful, though, for the job at Medline considering all the pros and cons. Funny thing is that I went in for the Starbucks barista spot, but she thought that I might be interested in the possibility of floral, so she mentioned it as a possibility, and I think it would be great! It would be really fun to learn about the different kinds of flowers and plants and how to arrange some basic stuff, etc. Anyway, it's all in the Lord's hands, I'm just getting myself out there and waiting to see what comes of it.
Really, I bet all these different posts about various interviews and job possibilities is quite confusing, but the Lord knows just where I'm going to end up and what job I'll be landing at. I appreciate your prayers so much that God will have his hand on my circumstances and that we will continue to look to Him for guidance and instruction on the right way to choose. I will most definitely update if/when I hear anything conclusive from any of these companies! This should be happening early next week - Medline promised a call Monday and Hyvee promised either Monday or Tuesday, so we'll see...
