Grandma Melissa
So, I started to do a cross-stitch. I'm enjoying it a lot! But whenever I work on it I totally feel like a gramma :) I don't really mind... It's just funny, I'll be working on it and look up to answer Nic or listen when he's talking to me and my glasses will be low on my nose, that's totally a gramma thing! I think I'll post a picture of it when I'm done - That means that I have a guaranteed post in about a year because I really think it'll take me that long!! It's a really big picture - I love it!

Yep! That is a gramma thing :) They sure are fun though.
ReplyDeleteI used to cross-stitch. The last one I worked on was probably over 10 years ago. More power to ya, girl. I lost interest. I like things I can get done. Cross-stitching took too long. Haha. My mom still does it. She's done so many amazing pictures!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to take me forever! But that's okay...it's something I can pick up and do a little when I feel like it...eventually I'll finish :)
ReplyDeleteMelissa, let me know if you want some extra thread because I have a decent amount (of course it's all specific to a project I started, but never finished, but still)and it's all neatly numbered/organized. I just stumbled on your blog via Bina's, so I'm glad to get to know you better! I love sewing and sometimes I do fell like my mom/a grandma, but I'm with ya on the whole "I just love it" thing!
