I have always had a less expensive flat iron (some Revlon model for like 20 bucks from Target) and have thought it was just fine for my needs. Recently, one of the plates stopped heating up, so it was time to get a new one! Thanks to my friend Amy who hooked me up with a 20% off coupon for ULTA, I was able to get a Ultra CHI flat iron for a reasonable price ($79.99) and have loved the results. Not only can I straighten much faster, it looks more smooth and healthy. I'm really happy with this new purchase!
